Behold, the Nike ACG Zoom Ashiko Hiking Boot! I've wanted a pair of these $180 boots since they first dropped in 2009 but wasn't able to find a pair in my price range until now. Luckily, I found a pair at a Nike Clearance Center on the ultimate come-up price of just $28. They're perfect winter boots for Texas since we don't get particularly cold--being made of ultra thin Flywire, they're lightweight but not really warm, although they do look hot!

The Ashiko ACG boot was designed by legendary Nike footwear designer Peter Fogg, who is best known for designing some of the most iconic shoe profiles in the "All Conditions Gear" group. The name Ashiko comes from the Japanese ninja foot spikes used to help climb trees and scale walls. While these aren't exactly ninja boots, they are especially rugged and lightweight, and with ZOOM AIR in forefoot and full AIR in a Phylon wedge heel, they're cushy underfoot too...perfect for scaling the urban jungle.

P.S. - Clearly, these have a polarizing design. I love em, but not everyone does. Would you rock these Ashiko boots? Click the TWEET button below and let me know!
