The company I work for is a sponsor of the Dallas Stars, and with that sponsorship comes a corporate luxury suite. Of course, it's for client entertaining purposes, so it's not typically available to employees such as myself. But as luck would have it, I was invited to a game in the suite last weekend. FREE EVERYTHING! I got the total five-star treatment.
I really had a great time in the luxury suite. There were 12 seats plus 6 tall stools behind the counter where you could watch the game, along with a kitchen and a seating area with couches in the suite. We had 10 people and it felt a little empty, so I'm guessing the capacity is somewhere around 18 to 20 people.
If this is what all luxury suites are like, man I've been missing out! I bet it'd be really cool to watch a Mavericks game in one of these suites. I've always said I wanted to get a bunch of people together to pitch in on a party suite for a Texas Rangers game. Now that I've tasted the "Suite Life" I'm more energized than ever to make that happen.
